Vanderlaand Barnyard Zoo is locally owned and operated and located 11827 Oak Valley Rd, Winchester Springs, Ontario.
Sheep Shearing Day is always a lot of fun with a special guest shearer, Ross Creighton, who will mesmerize children of all ages with stories while he works. There will be sheep shearing and Alpaca/llama sheering -- with different textures that your children will be able to see and touch. And when the shearing is all done, you can take a little bit home to add to your family's memory box.
If your little one becomes restless, Vanderlaand has an amazing play structure that will help burn off some energy.
Remember, you don't have to go far to experience the farm, and you don't have to go far to have a great staycation that your family will love to remember--and revisit!
Vanderlaand Barnyard Zoo is open Sundays from May through to Hallowe'en from 11 AM to 5 PM
There is a light canteen and washroom facilities on site.
Cost is $5 per person (children 2 and under are free)
Animal feed cones are $2 each or 3 for $5
Pony rides are also available for $5 per ride
